Underwater Structural Surveys

We carry out comprehensive underwater structural surveys to assess the condition, integrity, and safety of marine and freshwater infrastructure. Our surveys provide reliable data for maintenance planning, engineering assessments, and regulatory compliance. All work is performed by qualified commercial divers using approved inspection techniques and specialised equipment.

VISUAL EXAMINATIONS - Diver-based inspections supported by photography and videography to identify defects such as cracks, spalling, corrosion, displacement, and scour.

DIMENSIONAL MEASUREMENTS - Underwater measurement and alignment checks of structural elements including piles, walls, and foundations to confirm tolerances and detect movement.

NON DESTRUCTIVE TESTING (NDT) - Application of ultrasonic thickness measurement, magnetic particle testing, and other NDT methods to evaluate material condition without causing damage.

CONCRETE ASSESSMENT - Inspection of submerged concrete structures for deterioration, exposed reinforcement, and surface damage.

PRE- AND POST-CONSTRUCTION SURVEYS - Baseline surveys before construction or repair works, and verification surveys after completion, to ensure compliance with specifications.

REPORTING AND DOCUMENTATION - Detailed survey reports including photographs, video, drawings, and engineering recommendations to support client asset management.
